The Year 8 post-primary applications for September 2026 will close at 12 noon Thursday 19th February 2026.
Mid-Term 2 Break - HCB will be CLOSED from FRIDAY 6TH TO FRIDAY 13TH February 2026 (Inclusive) for mid-term break & will reopen on MONDAY 16TH February 2026.

Five bassoonists from HCB attended a “Big Bassoon Bash” organised by the Education Authority and the Ulster Orchestra in Townsend Street (the orchestra’s rehearsal space) today. You can hear how they got on by tuning in to “Classical Connections” with John Toal on BBC Radio Ulster on Sunday 28 May at 7pm.
