HCB Digital Leaders help to promote the importance of Internet safety.

6th Feb 2025

Holy Cross Boys’ Digital leaders are a group of pupils who help support and develop the use of ICT throughout the school.

This week, our school Digital Leaders alongside our ICT Coordinator, Mrs. Mohan played an active role in promoting the importance of Internet safety.

They visited the classes and talked to the boys about being safe online. ‘Safer Internet Day’ is celebrated in February each year and is a chance to focus on the online safety and wellbeing of children.

The boys completed a range of activities, including a Poster Competition. Congratulations to the two winners in each class, who received a tuckshop voucher.

HCB Staff also enjoyed refresher training on e-safety for schools this afternoon. Online safety should form a fundamental part of schools’ safeguarding and child protection measures.
