P7H make Soda Bread

As part of our World Around Us topic, An Gorta Mor, we had the chance to make some soda bread from scratch. We used all of the ingredients below and used the hot pan to cook the soda.

250g plain flour, plus extra for dusting
½ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 heaped tsp bicarbonate of soda
225ml buttermilk

The boys had a choice of butter and jam to taste their soda. They all really enjoyed it. Well done lads.
